Party Dresses

Start off with 2 new black dresses.

Get one that is long enough for black-tie events if formal parties are on your calendar. If not, get them whatever length you prefer. What's hot now are dresses either above or below the knee, one significantly shorter than the other. The longer one for more elegant, more formal occasions while the shorter one is that sexy little black dress for when you want to show off your legs.

Remember this golden rule. If you show your cleavage, don't show too much leg or you would look tarty. If you want to wear an ultra short skirt, than cover up on top and save your cleavage for another time.

Get 1 dress in a color (other than black) that looks great on you.

Add some color to your wardrobe. Brown is great. So are jewel tones and brights. An orange print dress is certainly cheery enough for a fun party. A pale blue dress is an unexpected shade that would stand out from the sea of blacks. Go with your gut instinct and get the dresses that you like on sight.

What is your color? If you look great in blue or cool colors, a royal blue dress would be a smart addition to your party wardrobe. If warm colors suit you better, get a hot red dress and turn heads at the parties you attend.

Get a dress in your color. Long or short, it doesn't matter. The only requirement is that you must look amazing in it.

Do you wear more long dresses/skirts or more minis?
If you prefer minis, get a black mini skirt for serious clubbing, but bear in mind, if you want to show your cleavage, then the hemline of your skirt should not go higher than just above the knee.

If your prefer something more formal, a floor length black skirt, ball gown style would be stunning. Or you could go for a sleek long black skirt that has a high slit that shows off plenty of leg.

Party Tops

Invest in a few gorgeous party tops. Shine is in, so get at least one top with sequins or in a metallic fabric. No hard and fast rule here. As long as you look amazing in it, grab it.

Party tops look stunning with jeans or your black skirt. Mix and match and you will have a new outfit for every party you attend.

Shoes

A girl can never have too many shoes. A gorgeous shoe draws attention to the legs and a slow, seductive way. A great pair of shoes makes an ordinary outfit simply gorgeous.

For this party season, you would need at least 3 pairs of high heel shoes. 1 pair of shoes in a metallic shade like gold or silver. 1 in black to go with everything and 1 in a shade that matches your colored dress.
