How many of us have drooled over designer clothes priced beyond our paltry salaris?
Designers may not be willing to cheapen their main lines by lowering the prices of their exclusive clothes. The expensive fabrics and workmanship is costly, hence, lowering the prices of these clothes may not be possible. To get around this problem, designers create younger or cheaper lines that more people can afford. This is often done through the use of cheaper fabrics and with designs that require less costly workmanship. Sometimes, even the designer himself or herself may not design those clothes, with the designing work being taken over by a team of younger or cheaper designers who understand the dna of the brand. All these measures translate to a cheaper line that still captures the dna of the original designer line.
Here are some of the top designers and the diffusion lines that make their styles affordable to the rest of us.
